I have been singing, drawing and painting almost all my life. It was my favorite pass time as a child, and carried on into high school. I was almost always in the choir room whether it was class time or not, and many of the drawings and paintings in my gallery are from back in my high school days. The drawings were often inspired by boredom in the classroom and later redone at home, while the paintings were color and design assignments.

I moved out of my parents house on my 18th birthday, which meant needing a job and getting it fast. After I got one, then a second, working left little time for artwork, bills left almost no money for art supplies, and roommates meant no more singing at the top of my voice whenever I pleased. But shortly after I got myself settled, my boyfriend got a digital camera for his birthday and thats when I got into photography. On the occasional day or afternoon off, if it was sunny, I'd take a leisurely walk with his camera and if I saw something pretty(usually the neighbors' flower gardens) I'd take a picture. It has become my main creative outlet.

I'm planning to go back to school soon to become a masseuse. Hopefully once I'm done with that and I've started my career, I'll be able to get back into painting and be able to afford my own camera.
