Finally, it's done and up! I am so making more of these, I love this thing! And it was so much fun to make!
An adorable bracelet that adds a splash of fun color to any outfit! With a matching turquoise bead and a cute little star charm dangle, this bracelet is perfect for adding to your everyday style.
Bracelet made from Rexlace plastic lacing and is approximately 5mm wide. Bracelet is just over 7 1/2 inches long, with an extender chain of 1 1/2 inches, so it will fit just about any wrist. One lace is turquoise, the other is a combination of turquoise, dark purple, and black. Metal bits are all silver plated/finished, and cord ends are attached with a very strong jeweler's grade clear cement. Entire bracelet took about 4 hours to complete. For sale in my Artfire Shop.

pretty the silver looks really nice with that color
Thanks! I really want to make a ton more of these, as they're a lot of fun to make, I can make them on my way to work, or watching TV, or really during anything where I don't need my hands. The only problem I've run into lately (and largely the reason I haven't made any more) is because the strings of the other color that I want to make keep breaking, which is frustrating. I'm pretty sure it has to do with the string being kinda dirty (I dunno what got on it, but it's like it had a sticker stuck to it) so I've been getting that off before I start, and I think I need to rinse the strings after cleaning them because I'm pretty sure the cleaner is making the plastic brittle being left on there. I'll try again soon. The next one will be purple with the tri-colored string.
kumihimo? I love the colors!
